Jewelry Care

How to Care for Your Jewelry

Simple habits to keep their shine, day after day.

SLEEP

Your jewelry loves you,
but prefers to sleep alone

At night, friction and tension can bend rings, create knots in delicate chains, and loosen settings.

SHOWER & BATH

Your jewelry would rather skip your shower

Soapy water, limescale, and chlorine dull the finish — avoid the shower, pool, sea, and steam rooms.

COSMETICS & PERFUMES
They dislike creams, perfume, and hand-sanitizer gels

The solvents in perfume, hairspray, and some creams can corrode metals and especially pearls and porous stones.

Put your jewelry on last, once products are completely dry.

STORAGE

When you're not wearing a piece, put it back in its box—stored separately

One piece = one compartment to prevent scratches

Keep away from direct light and humidity

Use soft pouches when traveling

SPORTS

Your jewelry cheers you on—but preferably from the sidelines!

Sweat (salts), impacts, and repeated friction speed up the wear of finishes and chains.

Remove rings, bracelets, and necklaces before working out.

CLEANING

A drop of mild soap and lukewarm water. Gently rub and dry—back to sparkling!

Lukewarm water + a drop of mild soap

Soft brush if needed (without pressing on the stones)

Quick rinse, pat dry
